Granada Flamenco Show

Granada

Sacromonte is the neighborhood traditionally inhabited by Granada's historical gypsy and Moorish communities. Many tourists come to this part of Granada at night for flamenco shows, the majority of which take place in Sacromonte's characteristic caves.

In the old days, flamenco shows offered to tourists by the gypsies of Sacromonte were called "zambras". Nowadays, zambras are gatherings that preserve the traditions of the old Moorish "zambras". Elements of the show include dancers, musicians, shouting and clapping.

Zambras are often a family affair, where various members of a single family often compose the group. The captain leads and names the group.

Going to a flamenco show is an experience in song, dance and guitar. It's something you just can't miss!
