February Joke

JokesFebruary Joke

Coffee

A man walks into a bar and says to the waiter:
- How much is a coffee? The waiter answers: - 1 euro
- And sugar? Asked the man.
- Free! The waiter responded.
- Then i'll take a kilo, please.

Explanation:

What's funny about this joke? - It's not very clear. It could be that the client of the café isn't very intelligent or, on the contrary, is too smart. Did he ask for a kilo of sugar because he didn't understand the waiter and he thinks that the sugar comes separately from the coffee instead of packets? Or, needing sugar at home is he trying to trick some out of the bar? – We're missing a response from the waiter (because it's clear that in real life he would have given some sort of response) but then the joke would no longer be funny and would just become a silly remark.

The same is true with many jokes...they lack an ending so that we can imagine what happens. Because if they occurred in reality...
